Eligibility Requirements:
- 19+
- Living within a Tees Valley Postcode (AM Training team can make relevant checks)
- Not currently an apprentice or on another funded training programme
- Have lived in the UK 3 years
Overview:
The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety Awareness gives you the skills and knowledge to help start a career within the construction, manufacturing and services sectors. The content of the programme explores a variety of important topics in health and safety, including (but not limited to) health and safety legislation, hazards and risks associated with different sectors of work and also important aspects of first aid. The course embeds a number of engaging practical activities in health and safety, helping to improve both skills and knowledge.
